Level 4 in Computing & Level 4 in Computing with Business Management Diplomas
The Level 4 in Computing Diploma (L4DC) and the Level 4 in Computing with Business Management Diploma (L4DC BM) are comprehensive qualification that are equivalent the first year of a Computing/ IT degree in the UK university system.
Entry Requirements:
Students must meet the following entry requirements:
Either one of the following:
- Holders of the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES).
- Holders of the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Computing Diploma (L3DC) (RQF).
- Holders of any local or international qualification deemed to be a similar level to either L3DC or L3IFDHES.
- Holders of one ‘A’ level or equivalent or an appropriate School Leaver’s certificate deemed to be of a similar level passed and approved by NCC Education.
- Mature students, able to demonstrate over two years’ relevant work experience and have an ‘O’ Level/GCSE/iGCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
For candidates whose first language is not English:
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
OR
- GCSE/iGCSE ‘O’ Level English ‘C’ ‘4’ or equivalent*
OR
- Alternatively, students can take and pass the free NCC Education Higher English Placement Test, at our centre.
* We will need to make a decision for any equivalency decision (both qualification equivalency and grade equivalency) pertaining to any enrolments via non-GCSE or non-standard routes.

Qualification Structure
To complete the qualification a student must study and pass units to the total of 120 credits. For the Level 4 in Computing Diploma, a student will study 5 Core Units and 3 Mandatory specialist units. For the Level 4 in Computing with Business Management Diploma, a student will study 4 Core units, 3 mandatory specialists units and one Elective unit from the choices given below. All students must study a total of 8 units and pass them all to progress.
