The programme aims to build upon the Computing and Software Engineering knowledge gained at Level 4 and 5 and enhance students’ professional skills, preparing them for the workplace. It also provides students with the opportunity to develop specialist and advanced IT skills
Entry Requirements:
Students must meet the following entry requirements:
- NCC Education Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma in Computing
- ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Computing (Software Engineering)
- Qualification Level 4 and 5 Diploma in Information Technology
- Pearson BTEC HND in Computing (Software Engineering)
Applicants who have successfully completed 2 years of study at a university can also be considered for direct entry with advanced standing. Other equivalent qualifications may be accepted for entry to this programme, subject to consideration by WINC Online and the University of Bolton.

How Students Study
Units comprise of weekly video lectures, tutorial exercises, discussion forums and live chat sessions with subject experts which will be accessed through WINC Virtual Learning Environment. Students will have the opportunity to interact with other students from around the world.
